When we can talk about our feelings
they become less overwhelming,
less threatening, and less scary.
Fred Rogers
Losing a loved one is one of the most significant life changes you’ll ever go through. To help you with this change, we partner with licensed counsellors to offer grief counselling.
To encourage you, if you choose one of our counsellors, we’ll put $40 toward your first four sessions.

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Approved Clinical Supervisor in British Columbia, Canada. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Trinity Western University before completing my M.A. in Counselling Psychology at Liberty University.
Before earning my doctorate in positive psychology at the University of South Africa, I completed a Diploma in adult education at Vancouver Community College.
I’ve worked as an adjunct professor at several universities and have researched, written and lectured on the topic of complex trauma in children with a focus on posttraumatic resilience. I currently work in psycho-oncology at the BC Cancer Agency and have served as Training Director of Complex Trauma Resources since 2012. I offer in-person counselling in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
I hold a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Briercrest Seminary in Caronport, SK, and an undergraduate degree in Education from the University of Regina (Regina, SK). My 20 years of life experience, raising a family and navigating life's challenges, losses, and joys, inspired me to support others facing similar struggles. Since 2017, I have been working in private practice in British Columbia as a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Registered Couple and Family Therapist.
My approach integrates a range of therapeutic techniques, tailored to individuals or couples and their unique situations. The therapies I most frequently utilize include Eye Movement Integration (especially effective for trauma), Internal Family Systems Therapy, Neurofeedback Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Couples and Family Therapy.
